Ethiopian Art Conservation Program is happy to use this platform to highlight the work of Ethiopian scholars, curators and experts in the field of culture that dedicate their time and work to the preservation of Ethiopian cultural heritage. The recent exhibition “The Wax and Gold of Hairstyles in Ethiopia” by Abdel Assefa examples a great effort in presenting traditional hairstyles which are still actively pursued in Ethiopia. The exhibition is still on view digitally and expresses the life and symbolic meaning of wonderful communities in the country. Have a look at www.hairstylesinethiopia.com and feel and learn about the wonderful diversity in Ethiopian hairstyles.
